It was not always set in stone that Josh would become part of McAdams Propane. When he joined the company in 2008, his experience working for Enterprise Products in Houston became valuable. Josh’s addition to McAdams Propane has helped propel its growth in various directions.

Josh contributed his expertise in the midstream sector of the energy industry. Eventually, the McAdams family founded Midstream Transportation in 2014.

Reinvesting our time, talents, and resources back into our community has become a part of our firm’s culture. Our clients have supported our business, so we want to give back. We contribute to livestock shows, walks, students and school events, and cancer funds.

Lisa has even created the organization 50 Women Impact, where members pledge to contribute $100 each quarter of the year. The group decides on which organization will receive a quarterly distribution. 50 Women Impact has more than 100 members and surpassed giving out over $100,000 in 2020.

Josh has also served on the board of the Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center for more than three years before becoming its president. The organization does many good things for children who need a voice. Their work has gained statewide attention as a flagship advocacy center that other small rural counties can emulate.

Apart from advocating for children, Josh even serves on the Texas Propane Gas Association board as president-elect. He was also appointed to serve a six-year term on the board of the Sabine River Authority by Gov. Gregg Abbott in 2019.
